The Great Face Off contest is held every year, in the month of August.

Contestants compete for the title of Strangest Face in Atlantic City.  Winners have a picture of their Strange Face added to the Great Face Off Wall of Fame, which has showcased the winning expressions since the first Face Off was held in 1997.

For the 15th anniversary of the Great Face Off in 2011, previous winners were welcomed back for the first ever Challenge of the Great Face Off Stars on August 24, 2011.  There were nine different contestants, seven of whom were previous Face Off winners.
