Man Slept Next to Dead Wife for 5 Years

For the past five years, Le Van from Vietnam has slept next to his wife…his dead wife. After she died in 2003, he missed her so much, he would sleep on her grave site. A year later, he dug a tunnel next to the grave so he could sleep beside her. His neighbors became concerned and called the police. In a desperate act, Van dug up his wife’s corpse and brought it home. This is when he molded it with clay so he could sleep next to her. Here is Van and his corpse bride:

No people…Although he may have loved his wife, physically digging up a body, molding decayed flesh with clay, and sleeping with a rotting corpse for 5 years is not an act of Love; it is an act of an emotionally unstable being, lacking mental/emotional control to rationalize moral standards, death, and sanitation. To justify his actions as an act of Love makes me question your sanity…

It’s cute to be a necrophiliac? I don’t think so. This just shows that he can’t let go at an appropriate time. Grief and necrophilia are completely different.

It’s sick yes but also in a sense sweet. He loved her that much. Granted he went about it in a really weird way but the customs there are different. I think it absolutely creepy but also sort of romantic.
