Man Slept Next to Dead Wife for 5 Years

For the past five years, Le Van from Vietnam has slept next to his wife…his dead wife. After she died in 2003, he missed her so much, he would sleep on her grave site. A year later, he dug a tunnel next to the grave so he could sleep beside her. His neighbors became concerned and called the police. In a desperate act, Van dug up his wife’s corpse and brought it home. This is when he molded it with clay so he could sleep next to her. Here is Van and his corpse bride:

that is so so so sad and disturbing … i can’t even imagine looking at someone’s decomposing body that i loved and putting clay on it and sleeping next to it that would mess andy normal person up he clearly loved her and apparently her dying made him lose sight of reality

i can’t stop saying “omg” what i think is crazy is how there is another person sitting there, obviously ok with it. now to me that is almost worse.
Have you read “Rose for Emily”? The same stuff there.
But I just don’t get how can you sleep normally with those. Corpses make some gases that can kill, don’t they?
