Jeans Made from Recycled Billboards

Now this is recycling!   Sony in Japan took their old vinyl billboard campaigns, ones that hung on the side of the building and cut them up to create one-of-a-kind jeans.  The jeans were then hung on the side of the building just as they once did as billboards.  Then the sale began.  Passers-by could select their pair of jeans using binoculars.   Once selected, a Sony employee would scale down the wall to retrieve the purchased jeans.

Proceeds from the sale went to restore world landmarks.  Very innovative!
