I am all about being different, but this is just a little silly IMO. Diesel sells this Black Label “No Face” watch for nearly $400. The face of the watch is made of stainless steel…yep no watch on the face. Instead the time pieces are featured on the SIDES of the watch. You can set it to 4 different time zones…so I guess that is good? What do you think? Cool or crazy?

John Edlund was an inventor determined to save lives. After all, he was a man who survived three boat accidents at sea. His solution, the Flotation Suitcase. A practical, light piece of luggage, weighing only 12 pounds, the suitcase was designed to hold all of your belongings for a trip, and in the case of an emergency, save you from drowning. If you had the need for a life preserver, you simply unfold the body suit and jumped inside. The case acted as a helmet and even had a window to see through:

The Re-Inventors show on the History channel attemped to recreate the suit, and some boat shoes to test for viability. Pretty interesting:

Ok, personally I think this sounds creepy as heck, but judge for yourself. Scientists found a a recording that actually was done before Thomas Edison. A Frenchman named Edouard-Leon Scott de Martinville invented a device called the phonautograph, and, on April 9, 1860, recorded someone singing the words, “Au clair de la lune, Pierrot repondit.”Source

Robot weds Couple in Japan

A couple in Japan recently wed with the help if the i-Fairy, a robot that can marry you! Here is some of the wedding footage:

The Bride, Inoue works for Kokoro Ltd., the company that manufactures the i-Fairy robot. Her new husband, Shibata was a client of the company, which is how they met. This robot normally functions as a museum guide.

Made from a pile of soft, squidgy, stuffed panda bears, this chair is the epitome of childlike comfort.

A car that runs on coffee!

I think I picked this story because the name of this car is the Car-puccino: a car that runs on coffee. No really! Created by a group of British scientists for the Big Bang Science Fair in Manchester England, this car will do three miles per kilo of ground coffee – the equivalent of about 56 espressos per mile.
