Canal Tours

DFDS Canal Tours A/S, formerly known as “Havnens Motorfærger” & “Canal Tours Copenhagen” has been doing harbour and canal tours since 1904 and is today the owner of 16 moderne tour boats. We employ approximately 100 people during the high season.

We offer locals as well as tourists a wide variety of daily trips around the harbor and canals of Copenhagen. In addition to this we also arrange private tours where we can customize the trip to the customer’s liking. These are done for both private persons and big corporations as well as for the many cruise ships that visit Copenhagen every year and often in collaboration with an artist or an event agency.

Today we carry 800.000 passengers a year distributed on our different guided tours, the waterbus and special events.

Bound for Trekroner or Fisketorvet

With the waterbus you can plan you own trip around Copenhagen harbour.

You can use the waterbus to visit the many sights along the harbour front and canals.

From 2010 all waterbus routes have been joined together to form one route: The Green/Blue route covers the entire harbour from Fisketorvet in the south to the fortress Trekroner in the north. A roundtrip takes app. 150 min.

With a day ticket you can hop on and off when and where you like. The ticket is valid for 24 hours.

The tour is non-guided and it is not possible to make reservations in advance.
