Old Sugar Mill

The Old Sugar Mill was once the grounds of a late 1800’s sugar cane plantation. Sugar and citrus were St. Augustine’s major exports until 19th century freezes put a chilly end to that.

While St. Augustinians still enjoy growing oranges in their backyards, the majority of massive orange groves are now located in the Southern part of our Sunshine State.

Tip: Plenty of FREE PARKING here.
