Working at Ripley’s, I have seen lots of dresses made out of oddball things, like egg beaters, and toilet paper, both lovely…but there is something about this GORGEOUS dress made from LED lights that has just stolen my heart, check this out!
Created by Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz for their company CuteCircuit, the dress features 24,000 full color LED lights. There are also layers of silk chiffon that softly diffuse the light, and 4,000 Swarovski crystals that make the dress beautiful when it is not lit. It runs on small batteries that are sewn all through the dress that will last for at least 30 minutes and Believe It or Not!, only consumes the electricity of 2 household light bulbs.
I do love shiny things, things that sparkle and glitter, so that is a plus, but the draping of the dress, it is just lovely! CuteCircuit claims this is the largest wearable LED display in the world.
