African Fertility Statues Now at Surfers Paradise!

CAUTION – Please Don’t Touch unless you want to start a family!

The legendary fertility statues have been credited with more than 2,000 pregnancies while on display at Ripley’s attractions around the world.

Over the years, Ripley’s has been flooded with responses from people who say the statues helped them get pregnant – including many who had been told by doctors they would never be able to conceive.

“We are not making any claims for the statues, but it is amazing just how many women have told us they became pregnant after touching them, even though some of them had been told they would never get pregnant,” said Tim O’Brien, Ripley’s VP of Communications.

Earlier this year, my sisters and i went to surfers paradise for a week, every day we walked past and on the last day we decided it was time to go in despite the scary entrance. I am SO glad we did because it was so awesome! everything about it was just so cool! i enjoyed the auditorium, and there was this little tunnel in there. i am a very tall person, but i decided to go in and it was so fun! everything was just amazing! i also remember this couch with a an african man that i sat on, and it made a farting noise :/ my sister and i freaked out. ripleys museum was such a good way to end our holiday and i will definately be coming back, i wish you guys had more soveneers though.

first we got some tickets to go in.In the first room there was a guy who had two pupils in each eye, human skull face mask, the hollogram that we tryed to take a picture of but in the picture he wasn’t there i didn’t like the shrunken head too much and the tallest man in the world the medievil torches were a bit scary then we went in illusion spinning tunnel
the art were cool i liked the paddle pop stick church then we went in the tunnel to the micorscopic room were there were the boat was onthe top of the pin an the timber chain
an then our adventure was finished and it was so cooooooooooooooolllll and will be never forgoten

Hey, we went to Ripley’s today for my friends birthday, we all had a great time and my friend thought it was a brilliant way to spend her birthday because it was so much fun.

We have a question though… the room at the end with the music and the big screens that show an outline of you dancing… is it possible to buy those screens? What are they called? Where did yous get them? How much do they cost?

wanting a child i rubbed the statue – 2 weeks later i was pregnate. we have been trying for a second child now for 3 years with no sucess – looks like we are heading back to touch the statue!
