He collected the boogers in an eggcup and then glued them together to create his mucus mosaic, which has been exhibited in London and Lithuania.

Among her creations are an earring with a middle finger bone, a necklace from five fingertip bones and a necklace from a hand bone. She obtains the bones from universities and medical schools, and always uses hand bones because they are the only ones small enough for jewelry.

That’s because he is featured in the pages of “Download the Weird;” the latest book published by “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” for a world record he broke in Groveland in September 2011.

“Diver and scuba instructor Allen Sherrod of Groveland, Florida, spent more than five days 20-feet underwater in Lake David to complete the longest ever freshwater dive. He surfaced on September 16, 2011, after 120 hours 14 minutes 32 seconds in the lake, during which time he entertained himself with a waterproof keyboard and monitor that enabled him to watch movies and check Facebook,” said a book excerpt supplied by Ripley’s.

Joshua was born without collarbones, which means that he has hypermobile, or double-jointed, shoulders. The collarbone normally forms a strut between the shoulder blade and the breastbone, and is the only long bone in the body that lies horizontally. “Having no collarbones is an advantage,” says Joshua, “it has allowed me to fit into small spaces and work through a crowd easily!”

Frozen bats are taken from the freezer and cooked whole–complete with fur, wing membranes and feet–before being ripped apart by hand and eaten. The fur can be chewed until the musky taste has been sucked out of it. Confronted with the dish, Western visitor Benjamin Brown said: “They brought out the bat on a plate with a bow around it’s neck to show it to me before they cooked it. I had thought at the time that they would be cutting it up after to make the soup. Clearly I was wrong about that!”
