Blanco has created several pop-culture and celebrity portraits for Ripley’s, all from unusual media, including dog hair, sugar, candy bars and Grade A Colombian coffee beans.
He’s also a world-class pop and opera singer originally trained in Medellin.
He now lives in Florida, where he teaches art to school children and acts as a cultural art advocate for South American-born artists.
