Fiona Tang is an artist Living in Canada and she makes art that jumps off the wall.

They are so immersive it looks like she’s standing inside some of them!

I am an Artist in progress living in Vancouver and am currently attending Emily Carr University of Art and Design. I started doing art a couple of years ago, and despite my parents’ disapproval, I have stuck to and fought for my art.

Fiona’s drawings are giant; Often spanning many yard-lengths of paper tiled one onto another.

The process uses charcoal, chalk pastel, and acrylic on paper. She shades the drawing in a style called trompe l’oeil that makes it appear as if the animals are jumping off the walls!

You can see this style in 3D street art and a few other artists we feature!

See more of her work below and on Fiona Tang’s Tumblr or Facebook!
