Every Monday on the third floor of a building at the Columbus College of Art & Design an anonymous duo erects a new art piece meticulously created in chalk.
The secretive twosome go by the name DANGER DUST
DANGERDUST spends a full day planning their next chalk board creation.
Once they have sketches on paper finished, it takes about five to six hours drawing on the chalkboard.
They use chalk, brushes, Q-tips, string, and various other instruments to get the textures they want.
The most complex display took Nine Hours!
They do this once a week and as secretly as possible.
“We’re an anonymous duo of chalk artists and every week we create a new chalkboard… and after that week is over we come back and erase it and do another one.”
The processes of drawing a single board takes more than 5 hours!
