Timed and Flex Tickets FAQ

  • What is the difference between a Timed Ticket and a Flex Ticket?

    • Timed Tickets require you to pick a specific date and time to enter the aquarium in advance of your visit. A Flex Ticket is valid for one use within a year of purchase, and you can arrive without a reservation. *Please note that Timed Ticket holders receive priority entry.

  • What happens if I am late or miss my timeslot?

    • When you purchase a Timed Ticket, you will have an hour to enter the aquarium. For example, if you purchase your Timed Ticket for 1:00 p.m., you will have between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. to enter the aquarium! If you arrive outside of the hour arrival window, you will be accommodated based on availability of the next timeslot.

  • Can I arrive early for my reservation?

    • We ask that you do not arrive early for your reservation. We do not allow early entry with our Timed Tickets, especially in peak periods (summer, holidays, march break, long weekends). If you do arrive early, you will line up until your entry time opens.

  • Does a Timed Ticket mean I only have an hour to explore the aquarium?

    • No, a Timed Ticket means you have picked an arrival time. You will have as long as you would like to explore the aquarium once you are inside! *Please note that there are no in and out privileges for any of our tickets.

  • How long are Timed Tickets valid for?

    • Timed Tickets are valid for the date and time chosen by the guest. If you need to modify your reservation, please reach out to our Guest Services team at: [email protected]

  • Will the timed ticket be able to be put towards a membership after their visit?

    • Yes, you can put the timed ticket towards the cost of upgrading to an annual membership! Visit the Guest Services desk to upgrade your ticket to a membership!

  • Can a Flex Ticket be used on the same day of purchase?

    • Yes, you can use it on the same day of purchase, however if you know you are coming on a specific day we suggest you buy the Timed Ticket.

  • Will I be guaranteed entry with a Flex Ticket?

    • Yes, you will be able to enter the aquarium. Those with Timed Tickets will have priority entry during peak times (holidays, March break, summer) so there may be a short wait time while timed ticket holders enter.

  • Why is a Flex Ticket more expensive

    • The Flex Ticket is at a different price point as it has the flexibility to be used at your time of choosing. Whereas a Timed Ticket has to be used on the date and time that you purchase them for.

  • Will the Flex Ticket be able to be put towards a membership after their visit?

    • Yes, you can put the Flex Ticket towards the cost of upgrading to an annual membership! Visit the Guest Services desk to upgrade your ticket to a pass!
