This Fourth of July, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! St. Augustine is rolling out the red carpet for America’s Weirdest Block Party, a FREE outdoor celebration starring live entertainment, family fun, strange history, and milestone moments worthy of the spotlight!
The celebration comes during a banner year for both the nation and Ripley’s Believe It or Not! St. Augustine. As America marks its 250th birthday, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! St. Augustine is also celebrating 75 years of wonder in the nation’s oldest city. And the headline acts do not stop there! Guests are invited to experience the grand opening of Ripley’s Mirror Maze and the return of the new and improved Red Trains, back and better than ever with a refreshed experience and all-new storytelling.
Throughout the event, guests can enjoy live music, face painting, giveaways, audience trivia, family contests, and a featured performance from Captain & Maybelle. Select free Red Train rides will also be available during times to be announced.
One of the day’s showstopping highlights will be a live art demonstration from Sunscribes, who will complete the final John Hancock on a massive 4-by-5-foot Declaration of Independence. The piece brings history to life using the power of the sun to create a one-of-a-kind patriotic work of art.
