FAQ

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

Do I need to make a reservation or book a timeslot?

Yes, Red Train tours must be reserved. You need to reserve your tour online, and tickets must be redeemed at the date and time reserved.

Where do tours start and stop?

Tours depart hourly from Ripley’s Believe It or Not! at 19 San Marco Avenue. Hop on the all-new Red Express and take in the sights and charm of the Nation’s Oldest City. This fully narrated one-hour tour guides visitors around more than 100 points of historical interest. At the end of your tour, you disembark at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Are the trains enclosed?

Our Red Trains are open-air vehicles with bench-style seating and easy access in and out from both sides of the train.

Are Red Trains and Trolleys the same?

No, there are several key differences. Ripley’s Red Trains sit lower to the ground than the trolleys, allowing for easier on-off access. They are also more nimble and can travel down Aviles Street, the oldest street in St. Augustine. Additionally, the trolleys offer all-day passes, while Ripley’s Red Train Tours are a roundtrip, 60-minute narrated tour, focusing on the sites and our city’s history.

Can I eat on board?

Yes! However, we do ask our guests to be courteous, clean, and mindful of the safety and comfort of others.

Do I have to print my tickets?
