I have been a fan and avid reader of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for over four decades. I have a Ripley’s book that is very old in my attic, given to me by a family friend four decades ago, itWss a very thick book. Ripley’s legacy is still going strong a hundred years after its inception, and, of course, this May 27th, I believe, marks the 70th anniversary of Ripley’s death. I wrote a letter in the mid-’70s to Ripley’s, and, if I remember correctly, my letter was answered, I think her name was Helen K. Kish, and she told me that Ripley researcher Norbert Pearlroth had retired. LONG LIVE RIPLEY’S!
