Archaeologist Marie Woods recently discovered a massive 165-million-year-old dinosaur footprint, likely created by a megalosaurus, on the coast of Yorkshire while she was out collecting shellfish. Submitted by Nate Westbury, Minneapolis, MN. 3. Diamonds were first mined in India, where they were being traded around 2,400 years ago. 4. Shoes can take up to 1,000 years to break down in a landfill.
