Promote Literacy With A Fun Story!
All it takes is 5 words and you can be the author of an incredible adventure story!
It’s that simple, and for every story written Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! will donate $1 to the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy (up to $20,000).
Write, read, and have fun with literacy, all while helping to raise funds to support family literacy programs in America!
Choose Your Character:
Jorge Ivan Latorre Robles has some very unusual talents—he can stretch his skin, pop out his eyes, and dislocate his joints.
He mostly uses his talents to entertain people, performing in theaters, working as a street performer, and volunteering at the hospital entertaining sick children, who often think he is a superhero with stretchy skin powers.
Alyssa Carson, 14, is the first person to attend all of NASA’s world space camps—and the first person to complete the NASA Passport Program.
Known by her official NASA call sign “Blueberry”, her dream is to be one of the first people to colonize Mars!
Nose Pull Guy
Zhang Yilong managed to pull a van with just his nose at a car show in Zhoukou, China.
Attaching a silver chain to the van, he strapped the other end to two metal hooks, which he inserted into his nostrils.
The large crowd cheered as he ignored the pain and pulled the van inch-by-inch along the road.
Don’t Forget to Share!
With your help, we are raising funds that support family literacy programs, such as Teen Trendsetters, where teens are paired weekly with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd graders who are six months or more behind in reading. Don’t forget to share this chance to write The Greatest Adventure Story Ever! with your friends and family – the $1 per story donation expires on October 31!
