Don’t feel too bad about it though, he’s also smarter than Einstein. With an IQ of 170 (that’s 10 points higher than Einstein’s supposed IQ), Jacob Barnett, a 12-year-old Indiana boy is becoming renowned for his current project of tackling the Big Bang Theory. Jacob is already taking college-level advanced astrophysics classes and at the age of 3, was solving 5,000-piece jigsaw puzzles. He also tutors for advanced astrophysics classes and has a paid job lined up to perform research at Indiana University. Diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at an early age coupled with his super brain, makes Jacob a force to be learning machine to be reckoned with. I guess it makes helping a kid with his homework a little bit tricky.
Yes, as Jacob’s dad, I have not been able to help him with his homework in 6 years. These days, I “help” by just making sure he does his work, but have no clue what it is that he is doing.
Omg you are his dad? wow you have one smart kid 🙂
I am so happy and proud of your son Jacob! He’s a very special young man. I find it very amusing hearing about how he surpasses the intelligence of his much older peers in University. God bless him. He will accomplish so much more in this world than he already has.
Very seldom is it that a young mind is able to comprehend a small fraction of algebra, and surely not intricate physics research. I have an aptitude for any form of mathematics, but as Amalle previously stated, he is an extraordinarily gifted young man. I am considered ” gifted” among my current sixth grade class, but that seems obscenely overstated compared to the mathematical genius of Jake Barnett.
